Risk Reduction
The Sheboygan Fire Department has a comprehensive public education program (curriculum) for all local schools. In the fall of each year, firefighters provide directed education programs to students K-4th grades. These programs begin with meeting a firefighter in Kindergarten and culminates with the Survive Alive Program in Fourth Grade. The department also instituted a Fire Academy Training Program which brings together smaller classes from area schools and home school students to a one-day educational event held at Station #3.
